Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Haver Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated in India ("Haver Technologies Private Limited", "we", "us", or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the Mitro platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service" or "Mitro"), which is owned and operated by Haver Technologies Private Limited. By creating an account or using Mitro, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law to use Mitro. By using the Service, you represent to Haver Technologies Private Limited that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Mitro account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify Haver Technologies Private Limited immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.
• Haver Technologies Private Limited may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including fake listings or profiles.
• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or harm other users.
• Solicit or provide commercial brokerage services through Mitro without authorization from Haver Technologies Private Limited.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

4. Content and listing accuracy

Mitro is a matchmaking and discovery platform operated by Haver Technologies Private Limited. Haver Technologies Private Limited does not own, list, or manage the properties displayed on Mitro and is not a real-estate broker. Listings and profile information are provided by users. While Haver Technologies Private Limited takes steps to verify identity where feasible, we do not independently verify every listing, price, availability, or claim. You are responsible for exercising your own judgment, meeting people safely, and verifying details before entering into any lease or arrangement.

5. User interactions

Neither Mitro nor Haver Technologies Private Limited is a party to any agreement, lease, or transaction between users. Any rental agreement, deposit, payment, or living arrangement is strictly between the users involved. We encourage you to meet in safe public places, verify identity documents, and use written agreements.

6. Fees

Haver Technologies Private Limited may offer free and paid features on Mitro. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before you incur them. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, text, graphics, and trademarks (including the "Mitro" name and logo), is owned by Haver Technologies Private Limited and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Mitro for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of content you submit, and grant Haver Technologies Private Limited a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use it to operate and improve the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided by Haver Technologies Private Limited on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haver Technologies Private Limited disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Haver Technologies Private Limited does not guarantee that Mitro will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any match, listing, or user will meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haver Technologies Private Limited, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of Mitro. The total aggregate liability of Haver Technologies Private Limited for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Haver Technologies Private Limited in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Haver Technologies Private Limited, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of Mitro, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

Haver Technologies Private Limited may suspend or terminate your access to Mitro at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or for any other reasonable business purpose. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute between you and Haver Technologies Private Limited arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be finally settled by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Bengaluru, India, before a sole arbitrator. Subject to the foregoing, the courts of Bengaluru shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these Terms

Haver Technologies Private Limited may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use of Mitro after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
